BabbacombeWoodland walks and rocky coves seldom go together but you'll find them delightfully juxtaposed at Babbacombe.
Babbacombe sits atop a steep cliff, though the cliff railway will spare unpractised thighs.
At the bottom of the cliff turn right and stroll along the waterfront maybe stopping for a bacon sandwich at the kiosk cafe. Then head up the path into the woods. It's a fine walk up onto the downs and down to Anstey's Cove. By which time you'll have long forgotten it was a return ticket you bought on the Cliff Railway. |map| |next attraction| |
