Brighton Pavilion
Brighton's Royal Pavilion started out as a farmhouse, but 200 years ago George IV wanted an extravagant
seaside palace. John Nash obliged and designed the oriental fantasy we see today.
As well as stunning to look at, both externally and internally, the Pavilion was a practical building with good heating, lighting and sanitation and the latest equipment for the kitchens. Fascinating place to visit. |map| |next attraction|
