Dinefwr Castle and ParkAt Dinefwr there's a ruined castle, a fine country mansion called Newton House - which the family
built in 1664 when they moved out of the castle - and a large deer park.
Displays tell the story of Dinefwr's history and an entertaining video tells the story of life
in the house from the servants' point of view.
If you can't quite place the etherially beautiful piece of Mozart playing upstairs you're not alone: it's not Mozart. It's Josef Mysliveček who was a close friend of Mozart and musical influence on him. Nice walk up from the house to the castle. Entry is free to National Trust members. |map| |next attraction|
