Mompesson House SalisburyMompesson House is opposite the cathedral. It's one of those places that are certainly worth visiting
if you're a member of the National Trust (i.e. it's free to get in) but otherwise you'd need a good reason
to visit this 4 up 4 down town house.
So if you like Queen Anne town houses or you know who Denis Martineau is this could be a place for you. There's a small garden at the back and a peaceful little tea room. Why not join the National Trust for a year and visit as many NT properties as you can? They vary from small ones like this to lovely places like Arlington Court in Devon. |map| |next attraction| |
