New Forest CentreThe New Forest Centre is worth popping in to if you're in Lyndhurst.
There's interesting information on the history of the Forest, its flora, fauna, geology and people - including one
Brusher Mills - a snake catcher who would cook adders and use their clarified fat (i.e. snake oil) as a cure for
rheumatism.
The New Forest Centre also houses the Tourist Information Centre - loads of leaflets to browse many of which contain money off vouchers and coupons. There are plenty of cafes and tea rooms to enjoy in Lyndhurst, though if you really want something to drool over stroll down to the Ferrari garage. |map| |next attraction|
