Salisbury
Salisbury is one of those English cities it's still a pleasure just to wander round.
There's the cathedral of course, but also
Mompesson House,
the Rifles Museum
and Salisbury Museum.
If you like long walks, head north along the river and cross to the right hand bank when you get to the open grassland. Follow the river-side path and eventually you'll see Old Sarum. The signposting is non-existent but you'll get there. It's just under 2 miles from the town centre. |map| |next attraction|
