Sir Harold Hillier Gardens

The gardens are extensive - larger than Furzey though not quite on the scale of Exbury. This is a gardeners' garden: there are no mazes, witty fountains, follies or suchlike to divert or distract, unless you count the tree house. |more things to do| 

There are roads on two sides of the gardens with consequent background traffic noise in some areas. There's a pleasant tea room up by "magnolia avenue" as well as a rather more industrial cafe in the entrance building. Plenty of secluded benches for picnics etc. |map| |nearby attraction|
