Sudeley CastleThe 15th century castle and gardens are pleasant enough. In 1535 Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn visited,
and Henry's last wife Catherine Parr moved here after Henry died - she is interred in the chapel.
The castle is popular for weddings.
The castle, ruined during the Civil War, was rebuilt by a Victorian textile baron. If you like Tudor history and textiles you'll like the exhibitions. When the family is in residence you can't go into the private parts of the castle where the fine art is housed. |map| |next attraction|
