Swindon & Cricklade Railway

The volunteers who run the Swindon & Cricklade Railway are an energetic lot. They have recently extended the line north up to Cricklade and are also extending south nearer to Swindon - even building a new station there. Steam and diesel trains run at weekends and occasionally on other days. |more days out| 

Blunsdon station car park is also home to events such as displays of military vehicles. The locomotive shed at Hayes Knoll is open to the public and houses an interesting collection of locos, including some undergoing restoration. Nice little railway. |map| |next attraction|
