Things To Do In Swindon
The best thing to do in Swindon is to find your way out.
It's a barren, soulless place. Whereas a wander round, say,
Bath or
Winchester will lift the spirits and fill the heart with joy,
a walk round Swindon will rob you of the will to live.
However, the Railway Museum is very good (close your eyes en route to it) and for ultra nerds the little Museum of Computing tells the story of computing from Napier's Bones through Babbage and early calculators to the first just about portable PCs equipt with mini CRTs.
